New Darboux Transformation for Hirota-Satsuma coupled KdV System

A new Darboux transformation is presented for the Hirota-Satsuma coupled KdV system. It is shown that this Darboux transformation can be constructed by means of two methods: Painlevé analysis and reduction of a binary Darboux transformation. By iteration of the Darboux transformation, the Grammian type solutions are found for the coupled KdV system.

Finite - genus solutions for the Hirota ’ s bilinear difference equation

The finite-genus solutions for the Hirota's bilinear difference equation are constructed using the Fay's identities for the θ-functions of compact Riemann surfaces. In the present work I want to consider once more the question of constructing the finite-genus solutions for the famous Hirota's bilinear difference equation (HBDE) [1] which has been solved in [2] using the so-called algebraic-geom...

Hirota Equation and Bethe Ansatz

The paper is a review of recent works devoted to analysis of classical integrable structures in quantum integrable models solved by one or another version of the Bethe ansatz. Similarities between elements of the quantum and classical theories of integrable systems are discussed. Some key notions of the quantum theory, now standard in the quantum inverse scattering method, are identiied with ty...

Desargues Maps and the Hirota–miwa Equation

We study the Desargues maps φ : Z → P , which generate lattices whose points are collinear with all their nearest (in positive directions) neighbours. The multidimensional consistency of the map is equivalent to the Desargues theorem and its higher-dimensional generalizations. The nonlinear counterpart of the map is the non-commutative (in general) Hirota–Miwa system. In the commutative case of...

A Matrix Model Solution of Hirota Equation

We present a hermitian matrix chain representation of the general solution of the Hirota bilinear difference equation of three variables. In the large N limit this matrix model provides some explicit particular solutions of continuous differential Hirota equation of three variables. A relation of this representation to the eigenvalues of transfer matrices of 2D quantum integrable models is disc...
